About Eye Surgery Associates
The origins of Eye Surgery Associates go back to before 2000, when a group of likeminded ophthalmologists came together to form an organistion that would provide a comprehensive range of tertiary ophthalmic services.
The group believed that they could provide excellence in patient care across the broad range of services by offering both patients and referrers access to a team of highly trained subspecialists who could both complement each others’ area of expertise and build a relationship with patients that would enable all of their immediate and changing medical and surgical eye care needs to be managed on a long term basis.
ESA is proud to be able to confirm that it has succeeded with this vision and today can identify many long term associations with patients and referrers that attest to this.
ESA has grown substantially in the intervening years and now has a team of 11 ophthalmologists (having started with four founding members) and some 25 clinical services and administrative staff meeting the evolving needs of our patient base.
Much remains constant in the treatment options available to patients but many new and exciting developments have occurred in the time-frame to date that are leading to better healthcare outcomes for our patients.
ESA doctors and staff greatly enjoy the work we do and the positive environment of a practice that exists to serve the needs of those with whom we have contact as patients, carers, referrers, colleagues and suppliers.
