Dr Sky Chew is an Australian-trained ophthalmologist with expertise in vitreoretinal and cataract surgery. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for a range of retinal conditions, including retinal detachment, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and retinal vascular disorders. Dr Chew also specialises in cataract surgery and the management of complex intraocular lens issues.
After completing his medical degree at The University of Melbourne and a Master’s in Ophthalmic Science at The University of Sydney, Dr Chew undertook extensive ophthalmology training at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital (RVEEH). He further refined his expertise and undertook four subspecialty fellowships in vitreoretinal surgery, medical retina and uveitis, and paediatric ophthalmology, gaining experience in treating both adult and paediatric patients.
Dr Chew is dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care, utilising advanced surgical techniques and offering a wide range of intraocular lens options tailored to individual visual needs. He is actively involved in ophthalmic research and is passionate about patient education, ensuring that individuals are well-informed about their eye health and treatment options.
