Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Assessments

Overview of your CASA Assessment 

Our clinic provides comprehensive vision assessments and reports required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) for pilot license evaluations.

All assessments require a scheduled appointment. During your consultation, our clinical staff will conduct a thorough vision function examination. Specialised glaucoma field testing required by CASA is available if necessary at our East Melbourne location. The test results are assessed by A/Prof Heather Mack AM or Dr Weng Ng and submitted to CASA on your behalf.

A/Prof Heather Mack AM & Dr Weng Ng are registered ophthalmologists with the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA).

Please bring your Photo ID (Drivers License or Passport) with you to your appointment. Your CASA Ophthalmologist will NOT be able to submit your vision report without sighting your Photo ID.
